TWEEN
THE WORKS INTERNATIONAL ART & DESIGN FESTIVAL
In my exhibition Tween I use bed sheets and fabric to create an installation of playful, colourful works of art. My pieces invite viewers to interact, and I was delighted to find children running through the hanging sheets and families finding shade underneath them. Set against the bustling backdrop of Churchill Square, Tween celebrates the joy and energy of childhood.
Throughout the curation process, I was inspired by memories of playing outside with friends and the freedom that came with it. I wanted to bring some of that sense of lightness and playfulness into my exhibition space.
The incorporation of movement and interaction is also a key aspect of my work. As street circus performers held their acts within Tween, my pieces became a part of the action, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Tween is a celebration of adolescence and the beauty of being in the present moment.

Community Colouring Workshops
In my large scale community coloring workshops, I sought to break down barriers and make fine art a collaborative experience for all. Inspired by my desire for inclusivity, I invited members of the community to join me in creating sophisticated works of art.
Through these workshops, I aimed to challenge the traditional idea of an individual artist creating their work in solitude. Instead, I invited participants to contribute their own unique perspectives and creativity to our shared pieces.
As evidenced in the photographs and videos on my website, these workshops were met with enthusiasm and joy as individuals came together to share in the creation of vibrant, collaborative artwork.
