Through Playhouse I explore the juxtaposition between industrialization and childhood play. Through the use of paper construction and whimsical imagery, I highlight the fragility of play in our modern society. The railway, a symbol of progress and development, looms in the background as a reminder of the constant threat to green spaces and places for recreation. My hope is that this body of work sparks conversations about the importance of preserving these spaces for future generations.
